I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my 9 year old grandson so we have not yet had a chance to build it but I have opened the package and it looks wonderful. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, the pieces look like they will be easy for him to assemble on his own or with limited adult assistance. All in all I am pleased with this product and feel my grandson will enjoy building this model while learning about electronics and solar energy. A fantastic way to make science fun while teaching children about renewable energy sources.
I will update my review after Christmas if I have any complaints (which I dont forsee)

I bought this as a gift. My great nephew is a very smart guy.
He loves things that challenge his mind. So this is a lot of fun for him.
I cannot tell you about assembly.
I’m sure it would take me longer to put it together. These kids now days are so good with electronics.
(Yes I am old) I still have an AOL account. Lol If it ain’t broke don’t need to fix it.
