So I make faux ears for costumes and cosplay. As well as for people to purchase. This is super easy to use for shaving down fake fur. Even without the guards on it doesnt cut down all the way to the netting ( unless youre trying really hard ) making it perfect to leave some cute fuzz where you want it. The blade is sharp, and I had my new pair of ears shaved in only a few minutes.

I have a cat that has the coat consistency of a Norwegian forest cat (crazy thick double coat) and she was only a few weeks old when she was found alone so she wasnt taught to groom correctly by her mom. She gets horrible matted fur every spring and fall when her coat is shedding and Ive gone through multiple trimmers each season, both human and pet ones, eventually giving up and opting for scissors. After an accident where she got a small snip and feeling horrible, I bought this set and I have to say the difference has been amazing.
I was able to get through all of her matted fur in minutes instead of hours. Shes pretty calm when it comes to trimmers because shes used to the process, but the noise of this one does set her on edge because its slightly louder than other brands Ive used. Im sure she will get used to it with time, just something to consider if you have a skittish cat.

My cats have a tendency to get matted even with brushing regularly. My cat Trixie (RIP) had a huge matted mess that would not come out so I bought this and within 5 minutes it was gone. I was very easy and careful with her otherwise it would have been done in much less time. Since then I use ocassionaly on my cats for small matts and I love that its wireless!! So easy to grab for a quick trim here and there.
I would think this would work great on most dogs. The family dog we had many years ago needed to be shaved down (Poodle Mix) a few times a year and this would have worked so much better than most other shavers.

This little shaver worked much better than we expected. We usually have our 15 year old boy shaved about 3 times a year since we live in the southwest and he gets very hot. One grooming session costs 4 times as much as this electric shaver, and is usually very stressful for him. We spent about 30 minutes shaving him at home, and he was much more comfortable than taking him into the groomers with loud barking dogs. The shaver is quiet, didn’t get hot, didn’t cut him, and had no problem tackling his thick fur. Great product for shaving/grooming an older cat who needs it regularly. Starting with a full charge the battery display went down to 77%. The 2 speeds are great to switch between for sensitive areas. We didn’t use any of the guard attachments, but instead used the adjustment dial to set the length of the ceramic blade. It worked perfectly.
