I bought this after doing a lot of browsing around to find a good callus remover for not too much money. I am really happy with this purchase. I bought it for my mother and myself who both walk around barefoot all the time (inside and outside), and have developed the worst calluses (I couldn’t really feel the bottom of my feet). Using this with too much pressure applied will slow the spin of the sander and it will make kind of a groaning sound, but as long as you apply light pressure, you should be fine. It takes quite some time to sand our calluses, so if you have bad calluses and are looking for something quick, this is not it. However, this works great if you take the time to use it. A cloud of ‘skin dust’ flew off of our feet when we used this, which is easily swept up and blown off the device. I can feel the soles of my feet again and my mother removed a callus on her ankle which caused her pain. Good purchase.
